Choosing between the two

Fallsview Casino Resort suits an evening built around a hotel room, a show or dinner at 21 Club. Its Salon Privé holds high-limit Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps and single-zero Roulette. A live craps table runs Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 2 am, in front of the main cage.

Casino Niagara suits a night built around the poker room, which serves both casinos. Its live tables run daily from noon to 3:45 am, and LEV2L Sports Bar sits on the second level. Either hall welcomes guests 19 or older through all 24 hours of all seven days. One Momentum rewards card works at both. The straight-line gap between them measures 1.4 km.

How Fallsview and Casino Niagara Differ

Fallsview Casino Resort

Fallsview Casino Resort, set on a cliff that overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, first admitted the public on June 10, 2004. The gaming space covers 200,000 square feet. It holds over 3,200 slot and video poker machines, from 1 cent to $100, and over 110 gaming tables. There is no Texas Hold'em poker here; the poker room for both casinos is at Casino Niagara.

Off the floor, the Galleria holds shops, the Avalon Theatre and an indoor walkway to OLG Stage. The resort also runs its own 372-room hotel.

Live tables, from Blackjack and Roulette to Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker, run daily from noon to 3:45 am.

Level 2 holds the poker room and LEV2L Sports Bar, with 275 seats and more than 50 HD screens. Everyone on the property must be 19 or older, in every dining spot too, and children are not permitted.

Online play in Ontario

In Ontario, online casino play has run as a regulated market since April 4, 2022. The AGCO, short for Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, acts as regulator. Before it can operate, a private company needs to register with the AGCO and sign an operating contract with iGaming Ontario. The official list is the iGaming Ontario directory on igamingontario.ca, and regulated sites carry two logos, iGaming Ontario and BetGuard. A bet can be placed only by someone aged 19 or older who is physically in Ontario; the government operates OLG.ca.

Readers who follow the Ad links on the home page reach a privately owned online casino partner. The guide receives commissions from this partner, which can be replaced by another.
